Aw, we'll miss ya too Mia! You gotta tell me about your trip when you get back...but where exactly did you go?
Well, I'm leaving for Mexico this upcoming Friday. *squeel* My first time out of the country! My grandma's taking me, and we'll arrive in La Paz sometime Saturday, then we're going to ride a boat, I mean, ship up then back down the Sea of Cortez, aka the Gulf of California. It's a wildlife trip so I'll get to go snorkeling and whale watching and oooooo! I can not WAIT! I love sea life to the last little plankton. ^_~ I'll be gone for a week as well....*sigh* I'll miss everybody too....but anyways....
Yesterday, I didn't have softball practice, (no I didn't skip it, we actually had NO practice.) so I went home with one of my best buds. For the sake of her privacy, we'll just call her Atella. She loves that name. I went over to her house and unloaded her dishwasher while she made garlic bread. (fun, ne?) But it was funny, cuz we couldn't find any garlic for the garlic bread. I kept telling her she could just make an herb bread, but NO she HAD to have a garlic substitute. So she grabbed the garlic salt....we didn't know it at the time, but garlic and garlic salt are very different tasting for those of you who are as unknowledgable as we are. >.< So, I wonder this morning just what that garlic salt bread tasted like, and how everyone in her family reacted. (they have no idea about our situation, no one was home when we did it.)
But continuing on, I then accompanied her to her saxophone lesson. Her teacher is a total nutcase. He didn't even know me and as soon as he found out my name was Megan he started calling me things like Megs (that one I obviously don't mind), Nutmeg *flinches*, Meg-pie *has a spazum*, Meg-spice (uh..okay), and Megster (all right)....I was like "Do I know you, sir?" Kind of weird.
But then I got home last night, and I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and all was well with the world again! Yay. heh, so until next time, all you peeps who actually read this stuff! Oh yeah, and Adrienne, did you die? I hope not.
